Woofun AI reports that LG Electronics has selected Arbitrum as the foundational layer for a specialized blockchain network targeting the advertising and media sectors. This infrastructure is engineered to streamline ad placement, purchasing, and management while securely recording user interaction data to foster industry-wide transparency through a shared inventory database.
This initiative represents a continued expansion of LG's blockchain portfolio, complementing previous ventures such as the enterprise-grade Monachain, the Wallypto wallet, and an NFT marketplace. Developed by LG's Blockchain Research Lab, the unnamed chain has already completed pilot testing with a Japanese advertising partner. The firm plans to evaluate the platform's commercial viability later this year, a move that has catalyzed a more than 5% surge in the ARB token price within a single day.
