Woofun AI reports that AvalancheOne Technology (AVX), formerly Digital Asset Technology (DAT) and acquired by the Avalanche (AVAX) ecosystem, has regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement.
The regulatory hurdle was cleared via a 1-for-12 reverse stock split executed on June 15. This mechanical consolidation reduced the total share count while proportionally increasing the price per share, allowing the stock to remain above the $1 threshold for 10 consecutive trading days through June 29. Although this adjustment did not alter the company’s underlying market capitalization, it satisfied the exchange’s listing rule requiring a minimum bid price of $1 per share, a standard that AvalancheOne had previously breached due to price declines common among smaller crypto-adjacent firms.
Woofun AI data shows the firm holds approximately 14 million AVAX tokens, valued at around $95 million at current market prices. These assets are actively staked to generate an annual yield of roughly 6%, providing a steady income stream that offsets operational costs and adds intrinsic value independent of equity performance. This strategy differentiates AvalancheOne from many other crypto holding companies that merely hold tokens without generating tangible returns.
Structurally, the company’s current market capitalization is lower than the value of its AVAX holdings, a discrepancy that may attract value-oriented investors. The restoration of compliance removes the immediate risk of delisting, which could have triggered forced selling and further price erosion. For shareholders, the reverse split results in fewer shares at a higher per-share price, potentially improving appeal to institutional investors who typically avoid sub-$1 stocks.
AvalancheOne’s return to Nasdaq compliance, combined with its substantial staked AVAX position, presents a mixed picture: the company has addressed a critical regulatory hurdle, yet its market cap remains below its crypto asset value. Investors will watch whether the stock can sustain its price above $1 organically and whether the staking yield can drive long-term shareholder value.
