Bitcoin Retreats Below $76,000 While AI and DePIN Sectors Post Gains
Bitcoin dropped below $76,000 as the broader market declined. Conversely, the AI sector surged 3.41%, with Worldcoin leading gains, while DePIN and Meme sectors also posted positive returns.
Data compiled by Woofun AI shows Bitcoin (BTC) retreated 1.03% to trade below $76,000, dragging the broader cryptocurrency market into negative territory. Ethereum (ETH) similarly weakened, declining 0.85% to fall under $2,100.
Despite the macro downtrend, the AI sector demonstrated resilience, rising 3.41% in 24 hours. Worldcoin (WLD) led this rally with a 12.03% gain, followed by Unibase (UB) at 11.52% and Fetch.ai (FET) at 9.62%.
Concurrently, the DePIN sector advanced 2.75%, anchored by Aethir (ATH) which surged 12.3%. Other outperformers included the Meme sector, up 0.98% with Siren (SIREN) gaining 7.25%, and the DeFi sector, which rose 0.58% led by dYdX (DYDX) at 11.3%. In contrast, Layer2 and Layer1 sectors faced slight declines, though Arbitrum (ARB) and Cosmos Hub (ATOM) managed individual gains of 2.62% and 5.25% respectively.
