Woofun AI data shows that Blackrock currently oversees $2.93 billion in on-chain tokenized assets, with Ethereum hosting $1.1 billion. This volume surpasses holdings on Avalanche, Solana, and BNB Chain. The majority of these assets reside in the Blackrock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), established in 2024 alongside Securitize. BUIDL tokenizes cash, U.S. Treasury bonds, and repurchase agreements, expanding from Ethereum to eight networks including Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, Aptos, and BNB Chain.
Additionally, Blackrock submitted an SEC filing on May 8 to introduce two new tokenized money market funds, BSTBL and BRSRV, aimed at stablecoin issuers and holders.
