Woofun AI reports that BNB Chain has published its technical roadmap for the second half of 2026, targeting a doubling of mainnet throughput with a long-term objective of a tenfold increase. The plan includes implementing BEP-675, dedicated channel solutions, and parallel execution based on BAL to enhance resource isolation and optimize gas fees for enterprise users.

In the first half of 2026, BSC reduced block intervals to 450 milliseconds and raised baseline throughput to 5,200 TPS. The next-generation L1 architecture, aiming for over 100,000 TPS and 50-millisecond pre-confirmations, is scheduled for testnet launch by late 2026 and mainnet deployment in early 2027.
