Dango Shuts Down: Trading Halts July 29, L1 Network Closes August 13
DeFi platform Dango ceases operations, halting trading on July 29 and closing its L1 network on August 13. Users must withdraw funds to avoid slippage risks as liquidity dries up.
Woofun AI reports that DeFi protocol Dango has announced the termination of its project operations, citing an inability to secure long-term business viability. The team confirmed that withdrawal restrictions will be lifted immediately, urging users to close positions and extract funds to mitigate slippage risks associated with declining liquidity.
Trading on the platform will cease at 12:00 UTC on July 29, with remaining positions settled via oracle prices and DLP Vault deposits returned as USDC. Subsequently, the Dango L1 blockchain will shut down on August 13 at 12:00 UTC, returning any unwithdrawn assets to original Ethereum deposit addresses.
