Woofun AI reports that Moonshot AI will publicly release the model weights for Kimi K3, a 2.8 trillion parameter model with a 1 million token context window. Developers can download, modify, and deploy the model on local infrastructure or cloud environments. The company intends to publish technical reports detailing the architecture, training methodology, and performance benchmarks.
Since the launch of Kimi K3, daily revenue has reportedly increased by at least six times. Moonshot AI is pursuing a new financing round valued at $50 billion and evaluating a Hong Kong listing this year. Bloomberg Intelligence data indicates that Chinese open-source weight models now account for 68% of total token usage, while AWS Bedrock, Microsoft Azure Foundry, and Google Vertex AI have not yet integrated these models.
