Bitcoin BIP-110 Support Rate Stands at 2.64% Ahead of Mandatory Window
BIP-110 signal support remains low at 2.64% with 1,790 blocks until the mandatory window opens in August 2026, as major pools withhold backing.
Woofun AI data shows that Bitcoin’s BIP-110, formally known as Reduced Data Temporary Softfork, currently holds a support rate of approximately 2.64%. The mandatory signal window is scheduled to commence at block 961632, estimated for August 9, 2026, with roughly 1,790 blocks remaining from the current on-chain height of 959842.
This proposal aims to restrict data field sizes in transactions, specifically targeting Ordinals-style inscriptions and large OP_RETURN payloads. If activated, restrictions would begin at block 965664 and expire after 52,416 blocks. Support currently stems from Ocean and smaller operators, while major pools like Foundry, Antpool, ViaBTC, and F2pool have not yet endorsed it. Foundry requires over 51% weighted hash rate support from clients before switching all blocks to signal support.
