Korean Investor Deposits Drop 20 Trillion Won Amid Market Turbulence

Woofun AI data shows that severe fluctuations in the Korea Composite Stock Price Index since July have triggered a rapid decline in investor deposits. The average daily deposit scale fell by nearly 20 trillion won last month compared to the prior period, representing a drop of approximately 10 trillion won relative to March levels.
Data from the Korea Financial Investment Association indicates that investor deposits stood at 1,046.584 trillion won as of the 30th of last month. This figure reflects a decrease of more than 35 trillion won from the historical peak of 1,396.948 trillion won recorded on June 4.
