Moonshot AI Valuation Surges 180% to $50B in Pre-IPO Round
Moonshot AI opens $50B G round with $500M AUM entry barrier. K3 model drives 70% API revenue share and multiplies ARR, fueling rapid valuation expansion.
Woofun AI reports that Moonshot AI has initiated its G round (Pre-IPO) financing at a $50 billion valuation, requiring participants to hold over $500 million in assets under management for direct shareholder registration. Payment deadlines are set for August 15, following a completed F round of $3.5 billion at a $35 billion valuation last week.
The valuation increase from approximately $18 billion in April is attributed to the July 27 open-sourcing of the Kimi K3 model, the world's first implemented 30 trillion parameter large model. API revenue now constitutes more than 70% of total income, with annual recurring revenue growing significantly post-release. Insiders dismissed reports of an imminent Hong Kong Stock Exchange IPO application as inaccurate, confirming the G round remains active.
