HIVE Digital Secures $350M AI Contract, Deploys 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs

HIVE Digital signs five-year $350M AI cloud deal, deploying 2,016 NVIDIA GPUs. Annual revenue rises to $180M, targeting $500K daily income from HPC/AI operations.

Woofun AI reports that BUZZ High Performance Computing, a division of HIVE Digital Technologies, has entered into a five-year AI cloud services agreement valued at approximately $350 million with an undisclosed investment-grade enterprise. The arrangement is projected to yield roughly $70 million in annual revenue, elevating BUZZ HPC's yearly income to approximately $180 million.

The deployment involves 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs utilizing the GB300 NVL72 system, NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, and VAST Data storage. Scheduled to launch later this year at the Bell's AI Fabric facility in Merritt, British Columbia, the cluster leverages renewable hydroelectric power and closed-loop liquid cooling. Capital expenditure is estimated at $185 million, funded via existing financing and additional equipment debt. Upon full operation, HIVE anticipates daily HPC and AI revenues of around $500,000, aiming for $200 million in annual GPU cloud service revenue by year-end. The company maintains approximately 400 megawatts of capacity in Canada, supporting over 120,000 GPUs within the next two years.
