Woofun AI reports that Ripple has deployed Ripple Mint, a specialized infrastructure designed to streamline how institutions access, mint, redeem, and manage Ripple USD (RLUSD). This launch addresses the need for flexible digital dollar workflows tailored to enterprise requirements.
The platform, announced on Thursday, offers dual integration pathways through a web interface and direct API connections.
Woofun AI data shows the system supports both manual operations and automated integrations, facilitating stablecoin adoption for payments, trading, and treasury activities.
RLUSD entered the market in December 2024 with an institutional focus, though it has since attracted retail users. In less than one year, it ascended to the top 10 stablecoins by market capitalization, demonstrating rapid adoption across user segments.
RLUSD hit an all-time high market cap of over $1.8 billion on June 1, 2026. Around the Mint launch, the valuation fluctuated from $1.54 billion to $1.64 billion, eventually settling near $1.59 billion.
Currently, RLUSD stands as the ninth-largest USD-pegged stablecoin by market capitalization. This ranking underscores its significant position within the broader stablecoin ecosystem.
