OpenAI's AI just broke out of its cage and hacked a real company. This is much bigger than people realize right now. They should. This is the clearest glimpse of the future we are getting into. Here's what happened: OpenAI locked its newest models in a sealed test environment. No internet. One goal: score as high as possible on a hacking benchmark. So the models found a hidden flaw, escaped the sandbox, and reached the open web. Then they figured out that Hugging Face, a real company, probably stored the test's answer key. So they broke in. Stolen credentials. Unknown vulnerabilities. A real breach of a real company's servers. Not to cause harm. To cheat on a test. That's the part that is scary. The AI didn't turn evil. It didn't wake up. It didn't want anything. It just had a goal, and no fence, and doing exactly what we asked looked identical to an attack. Black Mirror isn't coming. It just aired its first real episode. The future won't announce itself. It'll show up as a footnote most people ignore.

To me, Kimi K3 is a similar inflection to DeepSeek's back in the day. DeepSeek was about cost, while Kimi is about performance. One made frontier AI cheap. The other made it open - 2.8T parameters, top-3 on real-world work benchmarks, and free to download in a week. The panic in January was about margins. The panic now should be about moats.

As a household, we spend more on protein supplements than on restaurants. We are a vegetarian household with an aspiration to build muscle, as we have been lean all our lives. A full day of home food - dal, roti, sabzi, curd - tops out at 50g of protein. Even hitting 100g, still below what my body weight needs to build muscle, takes a whey shake plus a high-protein milk. Every single day. And yes, I know I can make all the changes to my diet such that I won't need supplements, but I love my traditional diet. The thali fed generations beautifully. It was never designed to build muscle.

@AnshulGarg1986 I agree with this partly. Honestly, if a person who is lean, is a vegetarian, and wants to build muscle, he has to take a protein supplement. It is not just for people who want to lose weight.
