Each country has a different growth engine, institutional structure, and venture opportunity. 2/ Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines have strong digital adoption, but financial infrastructure is still catching up. 3/ Singapore and Malaysia are more formalized, so the opportunity is deeper enterprise infrastructure: treasury, compliance, wealth tech, and industrial software. 4/ Thailand is different. Payments and account access are already mature, but household debt is close to 87% of GDP. The better opportunities are credit repair, debt management, fraud prevention, and products for an aging population. Understanding those differences is where the real investment edge comes from.
