Valuations in crypto are high not just because of insane growth potential It’s also the idea of FDV. How can any business forecast its terminal value and all of its shares it will ever issue? And yet it is the norm in crypto. Market cap is ignored, while FDV seems inflated. Perhaps that is one crucial tokenomics parameter that needs reimagination. If humans are terrible at pricing in exponentials, how much harder is it to price in terminal total value?

Kudos, this captures so many of the conversations I’ve had about prediction markets. For truth seeking, it’s the counterbalance to AI slop or attention farming. For speculation, it’s the alternative to narrative/ flow based price. And the idea of insider/ bounty markets is so new it will splinter into its own category. If you think crypto has won, and we are now "late stage crypto", here are a few obvious 1000x problems that have no clear winners: - Privacy is still not the norm. It's absurd that we send a transaction and that exposes our full balance and history. - Security still sucks. On most wallets you can still sign a transaction and lose everything. Or lose your keys and lose everything. - UX is still terrible.
