No, it doesn’t. There’s no basis for a lawsuit, it is just Grug trying to intimidate him because he has more money and could fuck with Riley’s life. Their actual business has nothing to do with the router (it’s a prerequisite but it’s not unique or challenging, and the thing Riley made didn’t rely on any special insights gleaned from them), it’s in order matching and Riley didn’t post or create anything related to that. He didn’t need to argue in public, he could have posted an apology to Riley from the warlock account for the original drama and left it at that, or done literally anything. He said they might try to post something to support him but that they wouldn’t do that until after they’d cemented the casino deal, which frankly I think is very cowardly. And then it was basically left there until today when Grug decided to sling threats at Riley. I’ll also say if I were to treat people at Wildcat this way, I’d expect my co-founder Laurence to get called out if he didn’t do anything to stop me, and vice versa.

That being said I specifically called him out because as a co-founder of the company and the person who would have actually had the primary say in hiring Riley, he has a great deal of responsibility for how his company treats its people, regardless of whether Grug is the one driving this terrible behavior
