Jake Lewis@lew_xyz · 2026/06/24观点输出everyone's selling agents that replace people. the better bet is agents that don't. let them run the rote middle at machine speed. keep your sharpest people on the two things models still can't do: catching the signal nobody framed, and owning the call. neither alone reaches the frontier.

Jake Lewis@lew_xyz · 2026/06/08赛道影响we are living through a period of compounding change. and in moments like this, the biggest risk has shifted. it is no longer making the wrong decision. it's now moving too slowly while the world moves around you. there are two paths forward. you can play defense: - protect what you have - optimize what works - wait for clarity or you can play offense: - learn faster than the environment changes - use new tools to solve old problems in better ways - create entirely new strategies and businesses that’s where the opportunity is. challenge yourself to do things faster and better than you have ever attempted. stay uncomfortable. iterate and accelerate. that's the only alpha

Jake Lewis@lew_xyz · 2026/06/05政策影响it’s becoming very apparent that ai will become nationalized and throttled for gen public use Here’s how I see it playing out: The US government will start to invest in foundation ai companies (anthropic and OpenAI). The rumor mill here is already effectively confirming this with reports of the government interested in investing in OpenAI. A growing majority will be concerned with job security. US Politicians will campaign on AI regulation (which will become the main issue when running for office in the coming years). We prob won’t see this with midterms but will 100% see it with the 2028 election At that point, those that push for regulation with job security in mind will win. Policy will likely be sloppy as ai companies aren’t lobbying nearly enough… yet. Corporate use of ai will be ultimately be throttled (not by compute but by model sophistication) Government use and research will run untapped. This how the US will position itself amidst geopolitical concerns and game theory with other global powers (defense etc) There will likely be some form of UBI in the US, funded by proceeds from Government investments in the form of dividends issued by these model companies. Dividends will patch concerns around sell pressure The question marks are around how other global powers act, the expansion of data centers, what this means for both fiscal and monetary policy, ai spend around lobbying, and how restrictive policy ultimately becomes without sophisticated actors shaping it
