The compensation amounts to approximately 1.94 million won, or roughly $1,400 per device. Gaia Network unveiled the AI-integrated smartphone during Korea Blockchain Week in July 2025, with sales commencing in September of that year. Following the launch, community forums reported significant shipping delays and a lack of communication from Gaia Network. FactBlock stated that this measure is gratuitous and operates independently without cooperation or funding from Gaia. The company aims to address the financial and emotional impact on consumers waiting for months without delivery.
